We are announcing two scholarship opportunities for the upcoming winter season. The scholarship window will open on September 1, 2025. We invite all interested parties to apply. We will work with the scholarship recipients to find course dates that work for them. Please see the Scholarships page for more details.
As stated in the description, these scholarships will provide one full-ride for an AIARE 1 avalanche course during the upcoming winter season. There are two available scholarships.
A big thank you to the Mountain Shop in Portland for providing rental gear to scholarship recipients free of charge.
