Cancellation & Refund Policies

As guides operating in a mountain environment, we're no strangers to changing plans. Our policies surrounding money and your trip are simple and are detailed below.

Deposit and payment policy

For all trips, we require a deposit of 25% or payment in full at the time of booking. Office discretion can be used to modify this requirement. We require payment in full two weeks out from the start of your trip.

We accept all major credit cards as well as checks made payable to Wylark Mountaineering LLC.

Cancellation and refund policy

If you need to cancel your trip, please do so 30 days from the scheduled start date or earlier. We encourage you to reschedule and we will work to find a new trip date that works for both of us.

If you cancel between 7 and 29 days from the scheduled start of your trip, we will retain your deposit. If you cancel under one week from the scheduled start date of your trip, we will retain 50% of your full payment and refund you the other 50%.

If we need to cancel on our end for any reason, we will work with you to find a suitable solution such as rescheduling. Reasons to cancel include weather, guide's health, and more. If a suitable solution cannot be found, we will refund you your entire payment.
