Purpose
The goal of our scholarship program is to increase the participation, representation, and enjoyment in the outdoor recreation space of people who come from backgrounds which are traditionally under-represented.
Note! This year is our first go at offering a scholarship and we look forward to learning more about how to offer effective scholarships. We welcome any and all feedback on how to improve our scholarship program!
Overview
We strive to be as objective as possible in our review of scholarship applications. What follows is a basic overview of our process.
- Applications are scored anonymously
- Applications are scored in conjunction with a rubric
- Applications are confidential, will not be shared, and will be viewed only by Wylark staff
Should a scholarship be granted for your application, you will be asked to create an account on our website so that we can schedule you. A website account is not required to submit a scholarship application. Your email address is, however, required so that we can contact you.
