Building on the success of last season’s scholarships, we are announcing three scholarship opportunities for the upcoming winter season. The scholarship window opens today – August 15, 2026. The window will close on November 15, 2026. We have shifted this window to be a bit earlier than last season so that folks can better plan their winter seasons.
The three scholarships are comprised of two AIARE 1 scholarships and one AIARE Avalanche Rescue scholarship. We invite and encourage all interested parties to apply. We will work with the scholarship recipients to find course dates that work for them.
Also new this season is the ability to save drafts of your scholarship applications. We hope that this will enhance applicants’ ability to formulate their best responses, free of worry that their hard work will be lost if they refresh the page accidentally. 🙂
