Pick a date or two and join us for some powder skiing, if the weather cooperates
What is POW WATCH?
POW WATCH is for folks who don't want to commit to a day of guided backcountry skiing super far in advance, but want to go with a guide when the powder arrives.
Pick a day and add yourself to the pow watch - no payment. We will keep an eye on the forecast and make the call 48 hours in advance. You only pay at that time, if you still want to go.
Why go with a guide?
A competent guide will manage risk at an expert level, know where the best snow is, and will have their finger on the pulse of the general area. They will know what areas are tracked out, have solid backup options, and be able to generally keep the day flowing which means MORE SKIING/RIDING!
What do I need in order to participate?
You will need a ski/splitboard touring setup and avalanche rescue gear, and all of the other gear listed in our Ski Touring Packing List.
When do I pay?
You do not need to pay until the trip is confirmed (approximately 48 hours out from the date you selected).
