Ways we strive to improve our world

We are committed to a practice which follows the principles of Leave No Trace.

We are a proud Leave No Trace Partner and we have integrated the Seven Principles into all of our programs giving our clients tools to reduce their impact on the land which are relevant to their context.

In 2025, we were honored to be designated a Leave No Trace Gold Standard Outfitter & Guide.

We believe in people affecting positive change in the world through community and non-profit organizations.

We donate 3% of our profits each year to up to three organizations which benefit the outdoors vis-à-vis access, safety, or education.

Past organizations include the American Avalanche Association, the Access Fund, and our local avalanche forecasting operation, the Northwest Avalanche Center.

Avalanche professionals use the InfoEx to share snowpack information amongst operations in their region.

We created InfoEx AutoWx for our winter operations to automatically populate weather stations with data from NRCS or MesoWest, saving time and reducing error.

We have made this available to the avalanche professional community for free.
